KOATS 4 KIDS BENEFIT
Friday, October 4, 2013
Old Mining Exchange
8 S. Nevada Ave.
Koats 4 Kids is dedicated to focusing on community, kids and culture in the community. Organized in 2007, Koats 4 Kids has raised funds for the Colorado Springs Conservatory and has provided a coat to every child at 5 elementary schools in the Pikes Peak region. The organization selects a different elementary school every year as the recipient of the coat drive. The school is selected based on the needs of the students. The goals of the event is two-fold: to collect new coats for children attending Centennial Elementary in School District 2 and to raise funds for the Colorado Springs Conservatory, which promotes
respect for the humanities by engaging students in advocacy and
leadership activities in the community.
The event will include a reception of good company, good food, good spirits and great entertainment provided by the students of the Colorado Springs Conservatory and held at the Old Mining Exchange on Friday, October 4, 5:30 pm. In lieu of an entry fee invited guests are asked to bring one new children’s coat per person (for a boy or girl youth sizes 5-16). Appetizers, drinks and entertainment will be provided plus an opportunity to win great door prizes
and bid on silent auction items.
This event is an excellent opportunity for the community to help kids in need and support our youth arts culture in a unique and inexpensive way. We hope that you will partner with us and many other wonderful organizations
and experience one of the best community events ever.
